True. At the end of the day, if someone's paying you, they're paying you to perform a service for them. Otherwise it's charity or a gift.
If you don't think it's enough, that's you're problem. Tell your employer you don't think you're being paid enough, or go find a job with a more acceptable shit/dollar ratio.
But don't take it out on the customer unless that customer really, really deserves it.
