That reminds me, i should do a lil research while i still have access to a computer.

Carl's already done extensive research, but most of it seemed to be regarding which good pubs were on the way there, rather than how to survive in an emergency.

Then again...knowing where all the good pubs are might actually be pretty good to know during an emergency.

I've done the trip many times. The worst was in a combi van. It takes like 4 days and the heat is +10 to the Perth heat on the plain, take large water jugs, esky with fruit and extra fuel!!
