yes. there's been a lot of sarcasm and derision among the blogorati, but phooey. even though we are far from being christians, my husband and i sat on the couch and watched the first replay (starting at 8:30 in the morning, b/c i am not that much of an enthusiast as to get up at 3 am) and held hands as the ceremony took place. it was almost like renewing our own vows.

i think it was lovely, and sweet, and perfectly right for them, and that they looked as though they knew what they were doing. blesséd be!!!
