A Christmas Carol: Short Review
My husband and I went to watch A Christmas Carol this week. This animated cinematique adaptation to Charles Dickens’ novella is probably one of the least festive Christmas movies I’ve ever seen. Banishing Darkness or Why I Love the Winter Holidays
I love the winter holidays, all of them. This time of year reminds feels enchanting and wild, with Hannukah candles at home, Christmas lights in every window in downtown Haifa, and Eid al-Adha fires in the Carmel mountain villages.

The Prayer of St. Francis. My Bride Song.
The bridal salon has a tradition of presenting the bride (with the gown, make-up, hair, etc.) to the bridesgroom to the sound of a song that the bride picks.
