Nice to see you drawing again! And good job on the picture. I could relate to that.

I had my first animal dreams, mental shifting and phantom limb/muzzle experiences while drinking, and thought the drinking helped that - until the animals started to challenge me to clean up my act and do something with my life. It turned out they were trying to save my life. It took a couple of years of struggle but I finally was able to quit and follow their advice. It turned out that drinking for me was a barrier keeping them out, and now life is better. :)

Thank you very much! The Fox has been a very important totem animal to me, and become connected to my sobriety early on through a series of "coincidences". That icon is my tribute to the Fox for that, for three and a half clean and sober years. The original artwork is from a public domain clip art source reproduced from an archaic text of Aesop's fables, specifically the Fox and the Grapes, a story that has new meaning for me. The arcane geometric symbol above the fox is connected to the program I am in and represents in in mandala form.

I won't bore you with the details. :)

Actually... there is some truth to that. Ever since I started this, I have not really had any dreams that I remember.

Only one night, in which I wasnt feeling well and went to bed much earlier, did I remember my dreams when I awoke.

Dreams... ah... dreams! A mixed blessing. Sometimes troubling, sometimes... WOW! I do miss them. To much stress drives them away, that's for sure!
