This is so bittersweet. Blending House's loss with his memories made me tear up. Using "Prophet" Jagger's words provided the perfect ending. Beautiful.

I couldn't resist tying in the pilot with my speculation ending with Jagger. Actually the whole fic was written around that one line. I'm glad that the emotions came through for House, I've been working on improving that each time I write and with this piece it was especially important.
