Hmmm-GY tweet. Very interesting-POSSIBLE SPOILER

Feb 02, 2011 18:35

GY tweeted this pic with his tweet saying: starting rumors. brizzly.com/pic/46D1

A bit of speculation that I have seen, is that it means Wilson goes both ways.  I actually was already thinking this could be possible because a couple of spoilers said House finds out who Wilson's secret companion is,but they never say secret woman.  Probably reaching ( Read more... )

I don't even know honestly. Ever since the huddy invasion exploded all over the show I have quit watching.

I am liking your theory though.. and to see that picture he tweeted makes me wonder.. I really really hope something changes/happens cause I miss that show and the hilson fandom too!

I don't even follow anyone [H]ouse related on twitter.. I miss St. Doris!

Yeah I know :( It can be so much or nothing at all. You can't trust GY. I used to be very involved with Hilson fandom but since this season it just seems so pointless. Maybe it's just my desperate need to have something to get me back into the show I loved so much or maybe we'll get something for once. So damn sick of HUDDY!!!!!

I used to be inhumanly obsessed like you don't even know! In my head Hilson is still going strong.. but other than that I've practically given up. I don't pay attention to the previews or anything. I've got a friend that I used to obsess with but she's a huddy fan.. I ask her occasionally if anything has changed.. but that's as far as it goes for me. I agree 1000% I am so fricking SICK OF HUDDY!

Regarding the question of RSL coming back for S8...I recon all cast members have signed their contract for next season already, haven't they? Now the main problem lies in the negotiation between NBC and FOX. Or at least that's what TV Guide says anyway.

If they're dumb enough to think the show can go on without Wilson, I can say that most people would be smart enough to stop watching! D:

I guess (according to LE) they can't even begin to start negotiations on new contracts until FOX and NBC settles. I've been afraid of RSL leaving since Erhan Hawke said in an interview that RSL would be done with House soon and they may work together on stage..something like that. Ethan however, annouced that he picked up a pilot for FOX for fall so I was hoping that means RSL will stay. I hope, that is if the networks sort it out.

I'm not sure because TV Guide said the whole cast was signed on for next season, but then LE said that until NBC and FOX worked out the negotiation, they couldn't begin to talk with any of the cast

Greg Yaitanes also said "I do" when asked "Who thinks Wilson's relationships fail because he's in love with House?" earlier, after the airing of Small Sacrifices, so it seems GY is just full of Hilson spoilers/rumours this year. I don't think it's for nothing. Thing is, what does it mean? GY has always been a big rumour-starter but usually they're actually vague little spoilers, and this has only started recently. I'm thinking something's up.

I didn't see that tweet from him so this makes me feel even better about it :) I'm just so worried that all the attn he's giving to Wilson lately is because he's leaving/dying :(

It's always possible that bad things will happen, but Wilson has been a main character since season one. I was recently rewatching season one, something Hilson fans might be urged to do at this time, and it really struck me how fundamental he is to the show, to House as a character. Someone said to me a couple days ago that most of the major character arcs could be seen as the ebb and flow of their relationship and it is true. House and Cuddy's relationship is not only not going too well, but is liable to only get worse. Plus, and I like to throw this around just to spread around a little hope, David Shore basically admitted that Huddy would end, seeing as he said in an interview that it would not be an on/off relationship "once it does end". When House's relationship with Cuddy has been milked for all it's worth and its husk has been thrown aside, if they get rid of Wilson there will be nobody in House's personal life. Nobody. They need him, because back in seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4, and most of 6 and some of 5, Wilson really was ( ... )

Very very true. I hope they don't run out of time with the whole thing with the networks fighting. I don't want it to end on Huddy because they couldn't reach an agreement for S8. I like how you explained H/W through all of House's relationships. I've always thought that they belonged together just based on how they were written, then they started pushing how much he loves Cuddy and I just couldn't swallow what they were feeding us. It made no sense based on earlier seasons. Here's to hoping :)

Hi, there! :D
I don't care what GY is thinking with this. Even if he's not actually planning to make Wilson bi, he's definitely taking the 'subtext' out of it because these are little statements from a power that be, and that pretty much makes it official. And for that I cheer, even if a potential huddy wedding would drive me away from the show forever. Thanks for the heads-up!

You and me both on the Huddy wedding. They just better not let RSL leave. I would so love for the series to end on a Hilson romantic note. I would be like, I told you so!!!! Gosh I'm petty ;)

I agree. But also, GY has only started doing this recently. I really didn't see him dropping rumours like this much in the past, and please somebody correct me if I'm wrong! It makes me wonder whether he's privy to some information that has changed his mind. There's a very high possibility that this is just wishful thinking, but hell, I'm going to hold onto that.

But I don't want to correct you, I hope you're right! :(

There was also a spoiler picture of a Monster Truck,
not a Huddy kind of thing. Hoping the two go together and we have a great House/Wilson at a Monster Truck rally episode.
Actually they can just stand in the elevator and it will be great.

And in the Official Guide, HL said that the program is basically House as seen through Wilson's eyes, even when he is not there, it is always Wilson's perceptions of House.
HL gets it, there are only two essential characters, House and Wilson,
Wilson will be there to the end.

This is a really nice comment. I agree and do hope Hugh Laurie believes that, and is right. I'm sure if Hugh Laurie feels this way, so do the writers, producers and directors. I guess it's just that some fans do not.
