Came home last night to see the new kitchen cabinets partially installed. The rest happens today and then I think the floorings guys are back tomorrow. I think our new farm sink will be in today but not actually installed until next week (Wednesday is what I heard ( Read more... )

Hi! Is it the weird monitor thing you called about? It's probably bad drivers, but that's challenging to deal with, I know.

Hey, are you guys up for company in mid-January? Will you have enough space by then? I have some vacation time I need to use up before January 24th, and I'd love to see you guys, and give you your belated Christmas presents in person and all.

I'll try more with the drivers. I bought a new hard drive but that's kind of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Mid January is an EXCELLENT time to visit. I think we'll be moving stuff into the new areas before then. Even if the new computer room hasn't yet become a guest room, we should be in the new "master" bedroom so the old guest room area will be available. With the new skylight, it feels so much better. Even at night you can see the sky (unless it's raining heavily).
