Wii Fit - Day 6

The Wii Fit continutes to be great fun.  We had several visitors over the weekend who all got to try it out.  Everyone who tries it so far has wanted one.  Even tired from gardening at Kathy's dad's yesterday and stuffed from a great meal at Macaroni Grill (sorry, Weight Watchers, we were bad...), we ended up putting on more than ( Read more... )

Hi! Happy Monday!

So, I was wondering if you wanted me to introduce you to my friendslist, and point them over here to say hi? You've met some of them already (hammerhead22 is Stephanie, and dine is, well, Dine).

Also, the Wii Fit sounds awesome. I was thinking about getting one, but I'd have to get a Wii first, and my budget doesn't bear that right now. Maybe later in the year...

Sure on the intros and thanks for offering. I love reading blogs (provided they're interesting or something/someone I can relate to, of course).

The Wii and Wii Fit is pretty cool. It's not your usual gaming system and a lot of hard core gamers find they don't care for it as much as, say, their Xbox 360, etc. So you may well be able to pick up a used console from someone who bought it but found they didn't like it as much (especially if someone is needing rent money....). I find I like it BECAUSE I'm not a gamer. It's easier for me becaues I don't have time to play video games a lot so I never get really good at them. And I don't really like shoot 'em ups. Kathy is totally NOT into video games and she's even started playing the bowling game with me so she's coming around.

The Wii Fit is $89 and includes the balance board and games disk. I dunno if I would buy that used.
