Suspending the gas tax might make people feel better -- if they can completely forget about the programs that rely on those tax revenues. My personal fear is that the oil companies will decide they can raise the prices/their profits by that percentage

Bipolar weather is a good description! I didn't realize you and the Richman were still poorly. That sucks. This weirdo weather sucks, too. It has been cold here and now the wind is blowing - I hope it is blowing us all in some beautiful mild weather. I will go check the weather report here shortly. Right now I am fascinated by my little ornamental maple tree out there tossing it's leaves around like its a headbanger listening to a heavy metal band!
