If Elizabeth Edwards can do it, so can you!

Ah, if only I looked as good as her while doing it. She's one amazing woman. *misses their campaign a bit, despite being an Obamaslut*

I'm glad you're not alarming! :) Three months chemo-free is a blessing. Your doctor sounds really on the ball.

She's a good doctor, though I'm a crabby, defensive patient. *sending smooches afield for you*

Enjoy your three months chemo-free, my dear. That'll be lovely. Hope it doesn't get TOO hot out there! :D xxx

Right now I'd appreciate a little heat (though not so much with the hot flashes). I had to wear slacks today under my dress, and I'm still carrying around hats and gloves in case the wind picks up. *pokes around for spring*

Aww! It's beautiful over here. Air cond. and two fans + humidifier going full pelt. Just wonder how long it'll last! ;D xxx

The idea is to deal with my cancer as a chronic illness,

This concept is breathtaking. I never thought I'd live to see the day and I sure am glad I have.

Here's hoping that your orc cells are sensitive to that drug!

The Rohirrim are still fighting, but they need reinforcements.

That cancer-as-chronic-illness thing is kind of mind-blowing. I tend to think of it as nastier than, say, high blood pressure -- but Rich thinks they're all trying to kill us. And I keep telling my body it can fight, it can get stronger... Yes, I do get some odd looks. Why do you ask?
