This is probably not the best place to ask this, but I can't find anywhere else, so I was wondering if you could help me with something? Does this series have a general community? Not general so much as no pairings, but general as in where you can post anything related to it? I'm about to go explore the kink meme, but I had a fic idea after reading the book and apparently nowhere to post it, unless I prompt and fill it myself or leave it in my journal without alerting others who like the Lorien Legacies that it exists. ^^;

Sorry for bugging you with my very random inquiry, bb!

Ah... let me think... oh, yeah! It does. The comm is called lorien_legacies, and it's here: http://lorien-legacies.livejournal.com/

The meme doesn't have an off-topic/discussion post because it really doesn't get enough traffic to warrant it. You could post a prompt for your own fic and fill it on here (and, if the prompt is vague enough, maybe get a fill by someone else, too), but that's probably one of the more convuluted ways to go about it, and the fic community isn't meme-centric enough (like, say, SherlockBBC or Inception) to justify doing that.

And no worries! Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! Don't worry, I definitely don't prompt things just to fill them myself (that feels weird to me; kink memes should be for making other people happy), which is why I asked about a community and this helps a lot! :D

Hello. I have recently tried to post a fill for one of the prompts numerous times, but it won't work no matter how many times I fill out the capcha and hit 'add a comment'. It's weird because I've posted a prompt before with no problem so I don't understand why it's not working now. What should I do? Any help you can offer would be appreciated!

Thanks~

Uh, well, that's interesting. That sentence, by the way, should be read as "I have no idea." Anon commenting's on, and it didn't even ask me for Captcha....

Oh, I think I know. Check the character count in whatever you're posting. LJ comments can only go up to 4300 characters before you have to continue it in a new comment, and it counts everything you need for HTML formatting.

If that's not it, duck. It's not practical, but it can be momentarily comforting. (Don't know who said that, but I'm sure it applies.)

Should I slap myself or would you care to do it? I completely forgot about character limit. Worked just fine after taking that into account.

Thanks!

As for the ducking, I'm sure I'll be able to use that bit of advice sooner or later.
