So, there's this Mexican pop song called "Todos me miran" (everyone is looking at me) that is sort of like the Spanish language version of "I Will Survive," both because of it's triumphant theme and because it sort of stole the melody. DUDE! i LOVE Gloria Trevi. She's the first pop star i ever idolized. i used to dress like her and even would put up lip syncing shows for my family at parties as a kid. I followed her career through all the drama and was always a fan. I am so excited to read this blog post!

yes i grew up listening to gloria trevi. and todos me miran as well as a quien le importa are both gay theme songs in latin america.

The night I met Anahí we ended up at this gay bar where an Alaska impersonator did an awesome version of "a quien le importa." I had no idea what was going on, but Anahí was thrilled.

So, is Trevi's involvement in this teen prostitution ring a well known thing that everyone has just forgiven her for? Or do they see her as a victim of Andrade? This is what remains unclear to me.
