At first I wondered how I felt about the whole gay marriage issue, I thought and thought about it, and it came down to this... I don't care what they do. It doesn't effect me in any way. Get married, don't get married, I don't care. I seem to have that opinion on many things lately. I definitely think that they should be allowed to adopt some of these poor kids that need loving families. I know that FL doesn't let them adopt, right? At least they didn't. I don't know if they still do. Not fair, the kids need a home and being a gay family doesn't reduce the love and attention that the kids would get. There are straight families out there that are so unbelievably disfunctional, so you can't use that as an excuse. Wow, how did I get off on that subject? Anyway, I agree with your post.
