man a brand new xb would be amazing!!! they're so cute. they get probably 30 miles or better in town as far as gas mileage goes. my friend ambre has one you can send her a message about it on myspace if you want! she'll tell you all about it! she's even in a cute scion car club haha. she's the 4th person on my myspace.. i think you should try to put the whole 5000 down on the scion if you can. that way your payments will be a little cheaper each month, etc..
