Milk and Peppers

The world of the middle schooler amazes me to no end.... I heard this today:

"Ms. Johnson, Sandra* won't be in band today because she ate a pepper and had seven milks at lunch." (* Name changed to protect the innocent)

I mean... what?!?!?

I totally remember being in Art in 5th grade and having some guy throw up because he drank like 10 milks at lunch. We were working on our paper mache fish made over balloons. He spewed. It was gross. I think our teacher was equally confused regarding the milk sport drinking.
