The art in question right now is originally from a web comic called "Purple Pussy" ( http://www.purplepussy.net ) which is is hilarious btw I used to read it quite faithfully in high school. The panel he traced was originally created by the artist Dave Kelly around 5 years ago. I guess Todd thought nobody would notice when he traced a panel of the art to make a painting of, thought wrong Todd. The original artist had passed this panel around as a promotion piece in various comic cons, so it was a heavily exposed clip to rip off like that. Apparently this is not the first time work has been ripped by this guy, just the most obvious I suppose. I'm sure as people discuss this in the various forums threads are popping up, comparisons with other work he has done will be made.
No only that, but now with this causing such a stir online people are making very interesting points about many of Todd's David and Goliath designs. This is NOT ok.
The very popular "Goodbye kitty character" is in fact an exact trace of an old gif animation called simply "Neko"...I cant believe I did not notice this sooner because I actually have the gif on my computer. You can still find the original animation online of you look, like here: http://www.anterras.net/pics/Animated/Animated-Neko.gif its been around forever, I remember first seeing that animation when I was maybe 13.

The original artist did some adult "furry" art a while back to make money, and Todd spams the link in his reply e-mails. True the art was not in good taste, but does he think this enables him to steal outright like this?? No it does not.

Seriously guys, why even support his company at this point? I hope this guy gets what he deserves finally.
Repost this if you would like to show your support for the original artist and your detest for Todd "Goliath" Goldman. We need to spread the word and not give them any more buisness, or this will just go on.
