Oh, Lorraine, this made me homesick! But at least I've managed to find cranberries and turkey here. Of course at heart even those trimmings aren't necessary for the holiday... only thankfulness. And I'm very thankful for you and for the spirit of community here on LJ!

Oh Amy, is this your first Thanksgiving abroad? That will be hard, I'm sure, but I'm so glad you'll have cranberries and turkey for a taste of home. Wishing you and your lovely family a most special day together. xo

Oh, I'll be here all right...cleaning up a storm! And speaking of storm, I think I'll need an ark to go out for last minute things tomorrow. ;)

Have a wonderful feast, dear Melodye. So glad you get to enjoy good food and relax too. xo

We'll have a small group here this Thanksgiving, but I'm looking forward to having Emily back here on Dec. 17, which isn't so far away at all. Thankful that my husband did the shopping today! And will look forward to the smells of cooking starting tomorrow.

and so glad even if posts aren't as frequent, we can now and then find each other here. Through the ups and downs and ordinariness. Thankful for all.

It's hard when the kids are so far--and yours is all the way across the country. But what fun that Emily will be home in a few short weeks. I know you'll be looking forward to that!

Happy feast to you, dear Jeannine. xo

Oh, it sounds like a lovely day :) (I know what you mean about organizing...I get very, um, flustered whenever I'm in charge of stuff like this -- so good luck :D)
