First off, I would like to tip my proverbial hat to all the fine folks who joined us for our winter warmies pajama party this weekend - thanks for making it a fabulous night all around. I added the recipe to my epicurious recipe box. It can be found here
It uses a double batch of this pastry dough recipe. It's a little time consuming if you try to make it all in one go because it has a bunch of different components that all need to chill or soak or whatnot before assemblage. It could probably be streamlined to a simpler yet still effective recipe if you feel like omitting various fidgety steps.
