Thanks WWU. Today I cracked open a C#/.NET book so I can learn some marketable skills (and hobby interest stuff) and I was like WHAT THE FUCK why didn't anyone even drop a hint that I should learn this stuff. Ugh. I guess I should have known better, but seriously

Thats good news. I refuse to bother with VB on the basis that is obsenely verbose and generally a pain in the ass. If I want BASIC I'll go QBASIC thank you very much.

I already like .NET from reading because I can use scheme and a higher degree of platform independance.
