Yes on 2, no on 4, and no on 8 are by far the most important votes to place on your ballet. I am in complete agreement with you.

And really, fuck the idea of America being a "Christian" country. What happened to separation of church and state? Fuck the Christian churches. They need to stay the fuck out of everyone else's way and go on being the silly godfearers they are... but they need to do it alone, on their own time. Stop fucking preaching to me and telling people who they can and can't marry. It's not gay marriage that's threatening family values and children's upbringings, it's the 50% divorce rate and all the stupid heterosexual couples who cry "DIVORCE LOL!!!11" at the first tiny bump in the road. Fucking religious people need to keep to themselves and not try to poke their irritating little noses in the rights of non- or other-believing Americans.

No, I don't feel strongly on this issue at all. :3

My buddy Alan put in well. He posted this on his journal yesterday.

I think it was former VP candidate (from the 2004 election) John Edwards who was going to about "Two Americas". There's one America that wants to progress and be more like a European nation. This America has the potential the be the richest and most wonderful and progressive country in the world. It has people of all different creeds, colors, and religions, with as minimal tension as possible...

And then there's Christian Red-Neck Yee-Haw America. Don't think I need to go into that. You know what that's all about...yeah.... /scurred.

BUT! On the positive, I'm glad that my point of view isn't completely off and that you agree with me on the important issues. Have fun with Bisola in the Europe. I've been following your journal entries, and you two seem happy. Thanks again for the comment, Ash!

If you live in Los Angeles county, make sure to vote yes on Measure R as well. This established a sales tax increase and re-allocation to help build up Metro in LA, which is in dire need of expansion.
