After I finished school in December, I quit my job waiting tables (because there is NO MONEY doing that anymore.) I got a job working at a hospital. I was hired in January to work at this cafe they were building, which was supposed to open in 2-3 weeks. I was supposed to be a full-time barista. In the meanwhile, as a favor, the woman who hired me said that she would put me to work in the cafeteria so I could at least keep busy and make some money. The money was good - $11.55 an hour and 40 hours a week with weekends off and 100% free medical. However, I was told I was supposed to be making $12.45 an hour, which I was not. Apparently, that was supposed to kick in when the cafe opened. The hours I was told I was gonna work was 12:30-9pm, which sounded cool, but without the cafe open, I was working 6:00am-2:30pm, which just isn't for me. After Starbucks, I can't hang with jobs that start before 8:00am
