Yup.... I'm doing it!

This is a fun one, and no one has to participate, but here's how it works:

1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, or your favorite kind of sandwich, maybe your favorite cat. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you ( Read more... )

A yellow jacket hovered near my banana peel today at lunchbreak while I talked about a poem with my friend.

did you?
did you?
did you?

have been hoping all the "silence" was because your NaNoWriMo novel was keeping you busy.

hope you did
and hope you're now propped, feet up, sipping yummy something feeling all self-important and all.

and if you didn't?
eeh. no biggie. i've "tried" two times and bailed both. i just don't have 50,000 words in me at any given time. (unless you count LJ where i've been known to be yelled at for overloading the comment form. snicker.)

Stand inside the temple
As the Book of Thel is opening
The Priestess stands before you
Offering her hand out
She's rising
Come the dawning of the dead
In famine and in war
Now the harlot womb of death
Spits out its rotten core
By the pricking of my thumbs
Something wicked this way comes
And when sleep takes you tonight
Will you wake to see the light?
---Bruce Dickinson "Book of Thel"
