My entire life there's always been this tiny child inside of me, wearing blue and silver, waiting for the chance to jump up and cheer on the home team Lions to win the Super Bowl.  Even when childlike fantasy was replaced by adult sarcasm and fatalistic "writing off the Lions forever"-type talk, I'd be lying if I said that I still didn't hope.  And
