1. I've recently started volunteering, at a studio in Cambridge that's part of Recording For the Blind & Dyslexic. My friend (and five-year volunteer) Steve turned me onto it; basically, you go to the studio for two-hour sessions, reading textbooks onto digital audio files that students with visual disabilities can then listen to.
