I was also becoming aware of an urgent rapping on the windows of the back room. It was, of course, Michelle of the Resistance. Much more what I had come to expect from an urgent summons to the French windows, but not more welcome. "Iz e 'ere?" she hissed

Thank you! (I thought I'd make it Michelle wiz zee accent mostly, on the assumption Spike speaks reasonable French with a load of slang. Also, I once tried writing Crabtree and it took me ages, for no funny result.)

Thanks! I've just realised I didn't use "you may be wondering why...", which were usually my favourite Rene introductions. But it was fun to be this silly nonetheless.
