You would think that Tracy would know how to duck, wouldn't you? But I guess in her defence, it did all happen pretty fast.
Happy Bond is always a nice change from the usual state of affairs. I think Bond would always be looking over his shoulder a bit, no matter how happy he was, just because life has dealt him enough bad hands to not trust it. But he's also very good at enjoying the moment. Hopefully there are lots of moments left for him to enjoy. :-)

True, it just makes me crazy that she dies so sloppily, like at least give her some dignity dammit.
Yeah, I do a good line in random offshots for Bond, mostly with PG and Moneypenny though... because I'm slightly better with them than actual Bond. I only have one actually typed here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/5961019

It's true to the book, at least. And it drives home the drama and the agony of the reveal, since she just seems to be sitting there perfectly all right, until Bond really looks at her. Ugh, it hurts!
Enjoyed your one-shot with Misses Moneypenny and Galore. How Honor Blackman loved saying her character's name in the press tour--it made all the reporters so uncomfortable! She makes a reappearance in the most recent Bond novel, I hear, though I haven't had a chance to read it, alas.

I have the DVD and keep thinking I should do a rewatch, but then I picture the end and...gah!
Honor has a great sense of fun while also being pretty darn formidable. She had loads of fun with the whole Bond experience, name included. I wish she'd been in the film even more than she was--she did a great job.

You could always do what I do with Della's one, skip the end. (I tend to skip the death-scene/bloody bits).
Honor is lovely too, I sent her a letter as a teenager and got a rather charming response saying that she was 'proud to have inspired someone to write'.

I love Honor for being so damn TEASING with them though, I mean, what's so wrong, just imagine her name as Pussycat and get over it.
