Beautiful and poignant. Sapphire and Steel are always at their best when a little humanity sneaks in to temper the harsh realities of what they have to do. Great work!

Sapphire is undoubtedly Steel's more emotional counterweight--I suspect it's not coincidence that they were paired together. Him being on his own would likely be less than ideal...

I totally agree. She is his ying and he keeps her for crumbling at times when the answer is less than pleasant. This is why they make such a good team.
