D-WAR failed to live up to the hype I gave it in my head.

So, as a follow-up to this post, I will state for the record: D-WAR was not nearly the most awesome movie evar. Not even close.  I would even go so far as to say it was supremely mediocre, despite having an extremely high potential for being the sort of campy fare I exalt on high.

My student zombie said that her friend is in this movie and that it's utterly horrible. Might be hard to find, but probably worth it.

I can never tell when you say a movie will be great if you mean it'll be actually good, or fantastically terrible. Because for you, they seem to be the same thing. So when a movie doesn't live up to your expectations, does that mean it's mediocre?

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. The worst movies, in my opinion, are the ones that are so mediocre that I forget them almost immediately after watching them. I couldn't tell you a single line from D-WAR, cuz nobody said anything interesting or funny. I couldn't tell you the details of any action scene, because they were just like any action scene. I remember watching it, and I could probably sum up the plot, but by this time next month I would be hard pressed to do even that much.

They did, however, have a Willhelm scream. For that I give them props.

Well, you might as well tell us what the D stands for, and save us the trouble of watching it to figure out.
