Okay, this might sound really strange, but for a while now I've been feeling like people are dodging me and not telling me the truth or how they really feel about things. And that bothers me. What also bothers me is how I feel like I'm doing the same thing to people, not really getting to know them or just saying things about them to make them ( Read more... )

i didn't really know you last year- you were this sort of witty girl on the boards, that was it. but honestly and truly, i like you. i really do. i think you're clever and funny and sweet and confused just like the rest of us. so if you were looking for a flaming comment full of your faults, sorry, but that is my honest opinion ;)

You've changed a lot. You've grown up a lot. You've become less of a 'prude' (to use your description) and more capable of messing around and having fun. The only thing I would caution you about is: have you changed because you have genuinely grown up; or found that you are happier and truer to yourself this way? Or have you changed because you want to please other people; or live up to what you think other people expect from you?

Speaking for myself, if it's one of the latter then it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if you reverted to the old Louisa. But if it's one of the former then good for you!

I don't know. which is why I'm scared. I want to please everybody, that's my problem.

I don't know what I want, really. I want to do well in school, be vocal about my beliefs, but still have fun. the only problem is, what is "fun?"

I hope you don't think I'm dodging you Louisa.

Ali speaks to my condition. Be true to yourself, please don't think you have to be somebody you're not just to impress others. We love you for what you are.

I feel the same way Louisa.

If I don't make someone feel better from an experience or if my work is not regarded as being useful, it gets me down.

You are a kind, caring, witty, funny individual, who likes anybody, and will show they care. You always put yourself out for those in need.

I know I may not be the best person to say that, but thats what I believe, and what kind of person you are.

You did change. You came back bouncier, with more energy and were enjoying posting in any sort of way. And you seem to be more reflective.

But my comment isn't as substatiated as others, but I hope it makes sense.

I don't lie about how I feel. Especially on here. I'm too honest for my own good sometimes.
I try to please people too much myself. Lately though, I've been trying to give that up.

hi hi, my oppinions on all people generally change depending on the mood that I am in, but really i think you may have changed and become more mature, but in doing so you may have fallen into a pot hole of sorts. i think really you care too much about what other people think of you. i think that when you asked people to be honest you were expecting or hoping to be cheered up by all these wonderfull answers that may not be here ( ... )
