On the Angel of Music

Wow. I saw The Phantom of the Opera tonight, and never before have I been so moved. I sat there awe-struck, like a child who walks in on Santa Clause....finally proving that the dream is real. I would go see Phantom but after seeing the play in NY i feel like i might be let down by the movie. Kinda like when i read Dr. Doolittle and then saw the movie with Rex harrington (the one that followed the book not the one w/eddie murphy) I was disapointed. It left key things out. And i feel the same about tha phantom, i know that the movie will have special effects and added extras to help fill up time, i think the play is much better.

You have yet to see the movie. I also have seen the Phantom of the Opera multiple times on stage. Like I said it is my favorite musical. But the movie just adds to it. It doesn't "Fill up time" it actually drags according to a friend who came with, b/c it follows the musical pretty closely.

Anyway, do or don't go see it. I went, I loved it...that's all that matters to me.:)

We had a trooper come into claires last night to look for a silver rose ring so he could tie black ribbon to it or something to recreate the closing shot of the movie. He said it was good to. Third times a charm, if a third person tells me its good ill go see.
