On the car ride there, I couldn't help but think of Angel more and more. I had been suppressing my anger and frustration of not being able to find him for a long time. Now that we knew exactly what happened I felt as though I could snap at any given moment. Luckily Gunn was there to calm me down...sort of. He didn't say much of anything the whole

"Yeah it's all here, although it does smell funny. Do you think blood can go bad?"
I had to admit I didn't want to see Angel in such a bad shape. I never have, well there was the occasional patching up but they've never been too bad. All I could think of was 'Interview with a Vampire' and if Angel would look like Lestat after he'd been dumped into the sewer.
I watched as we got closer to the spot. Memories of me, standing there waiting for him, came into my head. I was so anxious to see him that day. I waited for hours thinking he might have been running a little late. Well more than a little, but after he didn't show up I felt as If I had lost him. I turn my attention back to Gunn.
"Do you know where should start looking?"

I looked along a stretch of empty beach, and sighed. The waves went on forever, and out even further. I didn't think we'd have much chance of finding him. I mean... an entire ocean? And here we were, two humans standing on a beach.
"Damn." I muttered. "Any visions 'bout this brewing, Cordy? 'Cause the ocean... pretty big," I said.
I glanced at her as she checked her bag again. Yeah, she had blood. Good. Yes, blood could go bad, but... I wasn't going to tell her that just now. I didn't even want to think about bad blood right now...

"Do you think visions just come easily and periodically? Because boy have I got news for you, If I would've had a vision it probably wouldn't have taken this long. Obviously that Powers that Be are trying to have a little fun with us."
I look up at the sky as I mention them. I hope I said it just loud enough for them to get the point. I again look around at the ocean, I noticed that further down the beach there was several boats on the pier. I look over at Gunn and point.
"Guess I didn't need a vision for that."
Now to get ready for a long night.

"Cordelia?" I asked uncertainly. She had stopped talking in mid-sentence... was it a vision, or some other demony aspect she was getting?
"Did you have a vision? And... where else would he be?" Please tell me we didn't come all the way out here and steal some boat, just to figure out that the brooding vampire-mermaid wonder wasn't there... Besides, if he was in a coffin, it wasn't like he could swim away, or he woulda been back by now.
Unless a shark or something had taken him...

I smiled. "Turn the boat around, James! Er. Charles. Right right Gunn. We have a lost Angel to find."
"We have to get back to dry land, cause hey, I'm starting to get sea-sick."

"I... no. I'm not even gonna get into it," I said. I turned the boat around, although I rolled my eyes at Cordelia before turning myself around.
Great. Stole a boat and managed to figure out how to drive the damn thing... only to discover we didn't need it. Just... great.

"Get over it, okay? It's not my fault that hey, the Powers decided to send me a vision that Angel wasn't out here once we GOT out here. Besides, you didn't have to come. I could've figured out how to steal a boat, then drive it, then not find him all by myself."
"You just happened to come along for the ride." I glared at his back. "Now you're getting all grumpy with me?" I rolled my eyes. "Oh this so figures."
