i know!! its like they totaly have the wrong definition..i tell those who call me goth to look up the word in the dictionary cuz they are calling me something they are clueless of.
they seem to think goth is anyone who wears black a lot or someone who wears spiky bracelets..Which is totaly wrong.

Tim. I know how you feel. I get labeled the "goth" girl in my family. At family dinners over the holidays they all talked about how I was gothic and how they think I would definitely be one of "those" kids who gets facial piercings. Just cause you wear black doesn't make you punk or goth. Its an attitude and a way of life. Avril Lavigne is not punk. Sorry mr.aaron guy or whoever the hell... she's pop. And if she is why should you care? You like her , right? Then it shouldn't matter what she is labeled . Like who you like and stop trying to stay in these boundaries for being liked by other people. God, people can be so ignorant.
