No, mister, but that's a pretty good idea n' all. Except a rock ain't a slug so much as it's a rock. I'm just gonna give them names so they don't have to be called rock anymore. They're the kinda pet you have when ya want somethin' to listen that won't run away from ya.

Oh, I didn't mean it like that or nothin. I like talkin' as much as anybody. But I thought it'd be nice to have somethin'. And they really look nice sunbathin' by the window.

It don't write on rock very well, see. It can write on tree stuff but not rock stuff. They're a whole different species.
