If you would please refer back to where it reads, "as residents of the US, we are not an elite race that rises above all else". I was refering to the mindset of arrogant, imperialist Americans who believe the United States is the bee's knees or a superior race or what have you. As for me being an elitist, absolutely. Not in regards to my American citizenship, but in regards to my persona. Besides, my references to myself as "an elitist" is a joke. I can be very confident in myself but am also often at the very bottom of the barrel. But no biggie Mr. Anonymous, it's cool.
