I have mod approval to pimp a new community I just created for Elliot Cowan, aka Mr. Darcy. I know that asolitaryraven previously posted an Elliot fan forum, but this one's LJ specific. I can't promise it'll be as news-filled as the other site, but at least Elliot can have his own comm here on LJ like Jemima and Tom do.

Great idea. Quite a few hits on the main Tom Riley website come through LJ, so it can only help fans find his work!

Anything to spread the Elliot love across the web. :)
And I'm glad people have come to T-R.com through LJ. I think I came across it via a Google search, and then I decided to search him out on LJ.

It works best when there are links all over. Twitter is proving to be very useful as well.

Well, you are a better promoter than I. ;) I don't 'tweet' or facebook or any of that stuff. I'm strictly an LJ girl, so I don't think the EC com will get many visitors. I just wanted to have a little Elliot nook on LJ. :D

I just skipped through my flist and read my username and thought 'what did I do?' xD
But yes, I'm no longer active on that forum, unfortunately, because of school and a lot of other stuff going on, but I try to keep up with LJ as good as I can, so this is a brilliant idea, thanks for making the community! =D

Haha! Sorry if I scared you. ;) I often think the same thing when I see my name pop up in a community.

True, I think it's hard for some people to stay active on message boards, and LJ seems a little easier to keep on top of things because of the friends-list feature. Hopefully we'll all get to stay up to date with Elliot news because of it.
