Crowded underground trains

I rarely get up in time to catch the commute hour trains on muni; today was different - I was in the thick of things. It was great. I got to watch all kinds of different people pile onto the train. In fact, I got to watch as four inbound trains, which were full to the brim, stopped and passed by as everyone watched (without being able to jump on).

I'm the same way. I derive some strange satisfaction from watching others in thier mundanities(is that a word?) I'm on public transit at least 2.5hrs a day and so if I'm not buried in a book, I'm people gazin'.

Shoulda tried BART

I got to evacuate down a smoke-filled BART tunnel this morning. It was totally Disneyland yo.
