I am at awe at the level of excitement there is connected to Mr. Hussein's death. I find it grotesque and barbaric, the way the news speaks of it as "the social event of the year." Hussein was dead the moment he was captured. What disgusts me is the joke the "iraqi government" made of his trial.

The fundamental difference between the dictatorship of Hussein and the presidency of Bush is that we only have to deal with bush for another two years. The Iraqi's would still be dealing with Hussein if we HADNT stepped in.
