After my last post, I've had quite a while to cool my head a bit. Not to mention get out of PMS phase. Seriously, I'm getting sick of this monthly cycle of normal -> angry/depressed -> normal... not to mention every time it's that time of month I get bad cramps and I tend to be a lot more tired, which does nothing to help me through classes and ( Read more... )

D: you are NOT a control freak. Trust me, I know what control freaks are like.

Remember I worked with you on that Yoo project wii play for cancer! You were not a control freak! You were like, I'll edit video's and that's what you did!

Besides, there's nothing with taking control of a situation. I think that was more of a I want to WIN than I want CONTROL thing. Little kids like to win, and they'll do almost anything to win. Like once in third grade I memorized all the faces of a dice and how to turn them to get the max number of moves, then I totally rigged the throws so I could win! (ok now no one is going to want to play board games with me anymore...)

Yeah. You are cool. Not a control freak. And you like winning! Or not losing. Or something!

._. Well the thing is, I knew pretty much everyone in the group for that project to be reliable so I didn't see the need to do anything. I dunno, it's kinda hard to describe my thought process without seeming contradictory. Or maybe I just contradict myself a lot. Hmm.

Wait, but even if you knew what the faces of the die were, how could you control your throw?

Haha yes, I do like winning. Which is bad because CAL KEEPS LOSING AT FOOTBALL. GRRR.

Well people aren't machines, they don't always act in one prescribed way. But yeah, you aren't a control freak, like even in MAC you didn't seem like one. Besides, control freaks don't acknowledge that fact that they're control freaks, they just think everyone else is conspiring against the and stuff!

Well like when I throw it...it's hard to explain like. I'd turn the face the last minute so it'd land on a large number. not six, it'd be way too suspicious, but I'd make the number larger than the one it'd would've been. And sometimes if people aren't paying attention, I'd turn it so it'd be bigger.

._. I was very competitive.

I wouldn't worry about it so much...nobody likes the feeling of not being in control. But I guess I'm one of those people who can go with the flow pretty well. I mean, if something happens unexpectedly, no amount of thinking about it will change anything.

Actually I'm a pretty strong believer in karma - for every bad thing that happens out of the blue, something good will happen after, and vice versa. In the end, life is pretty fair, I think.

I used to be a pretty big control freak when I was little too. Way more than you actually. I still remember fighting with Sandy over just about everything - what we did, who got to play with you, etc etc. And omg, group projects. There were some projects that I literally just told my group people, don't worry about it, I'll take care of it, you can just put your name on it later. But things change...people change. You might too.

Eh, well it's not like I condemn anything unexpected. I do like pleasant surprises. The unpleasant ones... not so much. Or maybe I'm just mad at myself for not thinking of the possibility of my situation happening and coming up with a counter-attack in advance.

Uh. That's not karma. ._. Karma is where bad things happen to people who do bad things, and vice versa. I believe you are talking about equivalent exchange. Which does not exist however much I worship FMA because energy is always lost and entropy is always increasing- AHH CHEM MIDTERM IN TWO DAYS *HEADDESK*

I think I have changed. I've gone from a person whose opinion can be swayed very easily to a person whose opinion will not be budged save some earth-shattering change in circumstances. For better or for worse. =/

Dude. Melinda.

You're totally not a control freak. Everyone likes to be in control, but haha, I've seen WAYYYY worse. I think you'd be able to use great power judiciously and wisely. (:

I'm glad you're feeling overallishly better. I like that quote. I'm going to steal it now. :]
