our roof is leakig in two different places. just great.

on a seperate note:
what if you just keep thinking of the worst situations, and you'r ok with that?

being cynical is a defence mechanism. sometimes i do it; i'd think of the worst possible situation that could happen, just to prepare myself for the worst.

its not healthy though, cause you can never be happy thinking of the worst.

Probably an enviable trait (accepting catastrophic thoughts) if you're about to drop into a gully and it keeps you from tensing up in fear and falling; that is, to think "I could die doing this" but not get gripped over the thought is a good thing. Still, if all you ever do is think about the worst, then you might not be as elated when it's clear that the worst won't happen--you never worried about it to begin with. Also, you might not have room for other thoughts, such as "this is neat" or "that feels good." Lastly, it could keep you from fixing your roof, which I suspect has been skewered by two tree limbs the size of ships' masts.
