Lincoln is a fledgeling university... you WILL get in if you do well on the course that you are on. Fledgeling uni's struggle to fill places and will happily accept you because every student they take on means that they make more money. I wouldn't worry about a thing.
Lincoln and Teesside are virtually identical uni's as far as courses and standards go... Lincoln is a much nicer town however. I came to Teesside so I could move away and learn to be independent.
Just so you know... someone on my course (who I used to live with) got on my course with no gcses and ONE a level... apply to the uni as soon as possible and then ring them as SOON as you get your final results and keep bugging and bugging them!
up my GCSEs had to re-sit English and Maths at college
I really wanted to do A-Levels but couldn't get into 6th form so went to a different college to do a BTEC thingy and well doing that was better than doing my A-levels and I got into a fairly good uni (well known for its PR course) with crap GCSEs and a good BTEC
i guess what i'm trying to say is nothing really revolves around GCSEs anymore
