Part 3
When Kazuya saw Jin step inside the bar, he grinned. Then, he got up and ran to his lover. Before Jin had a chance to say anything, Kazuya was already kissing him. A couple of minutes passed before they pulled apart.
“And hello to you,” Jin smiled.
Kazuya blushed, “I missed you~”
“Since this morning?” Jin jokingly asked.
Kazuya nodded and kissed Jin again.
“I would have never guessed,” Jin teased after they pulled apart, “Did I taste a little alcohol in that kiss?”
Kazuya rolled his eyes, “I just had one beer….ok two.”
“Someone other than me has been buying you drinks?” Jin asked.
“It’s only Koki and Maru,” Kazuya replied, taking Jin’s hand, “Come on.”
Kazuya led Jin to their friends. After they sat, Kazuya cuddled up to Jin, but turned towards Koki and Maru. Jin didn’t mind at first, that was until those three kept on laughing about something Koki was talking about. Jin wrapped his arm around Kazuya’s waist, causing the younger one to slightly turn.
“Hmm?”
Jin kissed him and mumbled, “You still owe me for this morning.”
Kazuya smiled, “Are you worried about your surprise?”
“Terrified,” Jin replied.
Kazuya giggled, “Don’t worry~”
“I’m free next weekend,” Jin told him, “Why don’t we go to Kyoto?”
Kazuya, still in Jin’s arms, turned towards Koi and Maru again, and was listening to another story from Koki.
“Kazu?”
“I’m listening….” Kazuya glanced at Jin, smiling.
“Well? What do you think?” Jin asked, “We could visit your family. I could get us a room in that onsen you really liked.”
“That’s nice….”
Jin frowned, wondering if Kazuya was really listening to him. He turned to Ryo, Tatsuya, and Yamapi, who were also there.
“How long have those three been here?”
“They came an hour before you did,” Ryo answered.
“Together?” Jin frowned, “Koki and Maru work nowhere near Kazuya.”
“They ran into each other on the way,” Yamapi replied, “They haven’t stopped laughing since they walked in.”
Tatsuya elbowed Yamapi in the stomach.
“H-hey!” Yamapi pouted.
Jin pulled Kazuya closer again, “Kazu, why don’t we-”
Laughter interrupted Jin. Kazuya, Maru, and Koki’s laughter, to be precise. Annoyed with Kazuya ignoring him, Jin stood up and pulled Kazuya with him. Caught off-guard, Kazuya stumbled and frowned at his lover.
“Jin! What-”
“We’re leaving!” Jin dragged Kazuya out.
“Wha….?”
***
As soon as Jin closed the door to Kazuya’s apartment, Kazuya glared at Jin.
“You’re jealous!”
“I’m not jealous!”
“Yes you are! You always get like this, Jin! Koki and Maru are just friends! They’re all just friends! I love you, idiot! Why can’t you trust me?!”
Kazuya let his emotions get the best of him. Angry tears streamed down his face. He hated when Jin gets jealous over ridiculous things.
“I do trust you, Kazu! I do, it’s just that-”
“I don’t want to have the same fight over and over!” Kazuya yelled, “I hate this!”
His drunken mind was taking over. He couldn’t stop it anymore.
“I know, I’m stupid, I’m sorry, Kazu…”
“It’s always ‘I’ with you! Do you ever think about me?!”
“What are you talking about?! I always think about you!” Jin exclaimed, “Did you ignore everything I told you tonight?!”
Kazuya frowned, “What are you talking about?”
“Going to visit your family in Kyoto!” Jin angrily yelled.
Kazuya’s eyes widened. He knew that Jin was rambling about something when they were at the bar, but he couldn’t remember what it was. He swallowed hard, starting to feel guilty.
“I…I’m sorry,” Kazuya looked down, embarrassed.
Jin walked closer to Kazuya, Gently, he took Kazuya’s hands into his. He kissed Kazuya’ forehead, making the younger one looked up.
“I’m sorry, too,” Jin said, “You’re right, I need to trust you more.”
“Are we ok now?” Kazuya bit his lips.
Jin nodded, “Yeah…”
***
The next day, Jin left the apartment before Kazuya woke up. Even though they made up, but it still bothered him. He wanted to talk things out, but he didn’t want to fight again. He’d take Kazuya out to lunch and apologize.
Jin ended up going to his apartment before heading to work. When he walked in, he saw Saori cooking breakfast.
“Jin-kun?” Saori’s eyes widened, surprised that Jin was there.
Jin weakly smiled, “Hi….”
“What are you doing here?” Saori asked.
“It’s my apartment too, you know,” he replied.
Saori blushed,” Yes…I just assumed you’d stay with Kamenashi-san….”
“I left some paperwork here,” Jin said.
“Oh,” Saori muttered, “Well, do you want some breakfast?”
“That would be nice,” Jin smiled, sitting at the kitchen table.
Saori blushed again. She nodded and took some extra food to make Jin breakfast.
“Tomorrow is your parents’ party,” she reminded him, “Please don’t forget that they’re expecting us to spend the night there. “
Jin nodded, “I’m sure that mom kept some of my clothes, so don’t bother packing for me.”
“Oh…ok,” Saori gulped, “Jin-kun…”
“Hmm?” Jin frowned.
“I think we should talk about what happened with your mother…and the baby….” Saori nervously said.
“Yeah, we should,” Jin agreed, “We’ll talk about it tomorrow ok?”
Saori nodded and then quickly changed the topic, “Do you want me to make you some lunch?”
Jin shook his head, “No, I’ll go out….”

“Jin and I fought last night.”
Kazuya sighed and picked up another book. He was at work, putting books onto their shelves like usual. This time, Junno, who also worked there, was helping him out.
“What happened?”
“He got jealous of Koki and Maru, again,” Kazuya replied, “We made up afterwards….”
“That’s good,” Junno smiled.
“He left before I woke up,” Kazuya continued.
“It’s not good,” Junno gulped.
“You think?” Kazuya sarcastically said, rolled his eyes.
“It’s Jin, he’ll come around. He can only go so far without his Kazu-chan,” Junno teased.
Kazuya’s cheeks grew red, “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
“Of course, we’re talking about someone named Bakanishi,” Junno gave Kazuya his famous grin.
Kazuya couldn’t help but smile himself, “Thanks Junno.”
They worked together to finish putting all the book at the right place. Then, Junno excused himself to help with the cash register. After Kazuya placed all the boxes back in the storage room, he saw Yamapi walking into the store. Kazuya looked at his watch and smiled.
“Right on time, as always. Like everyday.”
Yamapi nodded, “Of course.”
“I’m sorry about yesterday,” Kazuya faintly blushed, “Jin just got a little jealous.”
“You don’t need to apologize, Kazuya, it’s not your fault,” Yamapi replied, “It’s not your fault at all.”
Kazuya sighed, “I wish I could turn back time. When things were good….”
Yamapi gulped, “Yeah…”
Their conversion continued on to other things. Neither of them saw Jin leaving….

Jin avoided anything to do with Kazuya afterwards. He was angry that either Kazuya or Yamapi told him that they met everyday… He felt betrayed, but was mostly hurt that Kazuya told Yamapi everything about them….
On the day of the party, Jin stayed at his apartment and when the time came, he and Saori drove up to his parents’ house. As they got there, his mom dragged Saori to meet some of her friends. Jin shrugged and grabbed a drink for himself. And then, another drink and another drink….While getting a look at his parents’ large living room filled with people, he spotted Ryo, Tatsuya, and Yamapi. He finished his drink and took another one before walking to his friends. As soon as he got to them, he saw Tatsuya crossing his arms.
“Why haven’t you called Kazuya?”
Jin shrugged and drank, keeping his eyes on Yamapi.
“He’s worried about you,” Ryo told him.
Jin shrugged again.
“A shrugged doesn’t justify your answer Jin!” Yamapi exclaimed.
Jin glared at him, “Shut up, you asshole.”
Yamapi blinked, taken aback by Jin’s reply, “What did I do?”
“How long have you been visiting him?” Jin hissed.
“Huh?” Yamapi frowned.
“What are you talking about?” Tatsuya asked.
“Since when did you start meeting up with Kazuya?! You know, going to his workplace everyday?!” Jin exclaimed
People around them started looking at them. Ryo slightly nudged at Tatsuya, who nodded in respond. They pulled Jin into a spare room. Yamapi followed them.
“Kazuya and I are friends, Jin,” he answered after Ryo closed the door, “Nothing more than that.”
“Do you think I’m stupid?!” Jin hissed.
“I think you’re drunk,” Yamapi replied.
“I know you like him!” Jin exclaimed, “Everyone knows that you like Kazuya!”
“Kazuya is my friend, he’s just a friend,” Yamapi said, not wanting to admit that Jin was right.
“But you want more, don’t you?” Jin growled, “You hate that fact that he chose me over you, don’t you?!”
“You’re drunk, Jin,” Yamapi replied.
“If you’re just his friend, why didn’t you tell me about your bookstore meetings?” Jin pushed Yamapi, “Why didn’t Kazuya tell me?”
“Because I told him not to…” Yamapi gritted through his teeth.
“Yeah, I thought so,” Jin bitterly replied.
Ryo and Tatsuya stared at the other two in shock, not knowing what to do. Without another word, Yamapi left. Jin started yelling at the door, knowing that Yamapi could still hear him, saying that he won. All the sudden, Ryo hit him on the head. Jin flinched and fell on the couch.
“You stupid drunk!” Ryo yelled.
“It’s his fault!” Jin angrily replied.
“Who introduced you to Kazuya?!” Ryo exclaimed, “Who set you up with Kazuya?! Who covered for you during your crazy ordeal with your parents?! You fucking idiot!”
Jin sent death glares at Ryo. He got up and started to walk out. Tatsuya tried to stop him, but Jin ignored him. He walked around until he saw Saori with his mom. He smiled and walked to them.
“Hi honey,” his mom smiled.
He forced a smile back, “Hi.”
Saori frowned, “Is something wrong?”
“It’s nothing…I’m not feeling very well,” Jin mumbled.
“Maybe you two should turn in for the tonight,” his mom suggested.
Jin nodded and gently took Saori’s hand into his, “Yeah…”
Saori blushed, “Jin…?”
Jin kissed her on the cheek, “Let’s go, Saori-chan.”
Saori nervously nodded and followed Jin’s lead.
On the other side of the room, Ryo and Tatsuya watched as Jin led Saori upstairs. Tatsuya sighed and turned to his boyfriend.
“He’s drunk.”
“I know.”
“He’s going to do something stupid, isn’t he?”
Ryo didn’t say anything. All he could do was hope that Jin wouldn’t….
