I was going to think of something less obvious next, but, after all, this is one of the topics I got from dbskyler...

7. Press Gang

:-) It's easier to start quoting PG than to stop...

Absolutely!

(Just as it's easier to start quoting the Eighth Doctor than to stop!)

'I'm not responsible for everything. I just make it look that way.'

...based on the evidence, Lynda is my little sister, only with curly hair. XD

(I am not watching it. 1: I'm so annoyed with Steven Moffat I haven't even seen "Tintin" yet. 2: it was a very bad idea even to watch an hour of Pete Seeger videos on Youtube last night, and those have no emotionally stressful content at all. :P But I am amused that Moff apparently put my little sister on the telly before she was born. Timey-wimeyness for the win!)

 I really hope your sister isn't that much like Lynda!! (one day in the future if you're ever un-annoyed enough with Steven Moffat, maybe you'll be able to give it a try and let me know whether she really is or not. But  I suppose as long as she doesn't sound like Colin...)

:-)

And, yeah, you see I'm kind of the other way around with him - I have to confess I find everything he's written after 1993 (even the bits I've v much enjoyed) completely irrelevant compared to the fact that he wrote Press Gang. I suppose I might care if he committed murder or something, but, you know... Other than that... He wrote Press Gang.

It's embarrassing that I only know her from AbFab.

Well, it's not a bad thing to know her from! ;-) Fairly obviously, I love Press Gang, but it is an obscure thing. And apart from that she was in several long-forgotten sitcoms, and many period dramas (and I suppose it depends if that's your thing or not). She was in later Jonathan Creek, though, too & that was a pretty great TV show.

Oh, Lynda! ♥

(I don't have anything more coherent to say other than that. So I'll just reiterate, ♥)

Sometimes ♥ is more than enough. (And I was screencapping earlier - have this):
