In the past couple days, there have been specific things that have made me really happy...things that give me hope for the world. The other day when I was struggling at my locker and everything kept falling out and I was all alone, all of a sudden I see a hand grab my jacket and backpack and hold them up so I can get my books. Yay for Matt. And then today, I woke up in the worst mood because I had truly avoided studying for my Current Events test because of the impending snow day but of course that snow never really came. I really debated getting out of bed, but something got me up, I still have no idea what did it though. Anyways, mom offers me a ride to the bus stop and since everyday for the longest time the bus gets there within five minutes of my arrival, I told her it wasn't worth it. Of course, the bus came a half an hour late. So with numb feet and hands, I boarded the bus and pretended to study. I get to school as the bell is ringing and storm to my locker. Ashley comes over and says something. For some reason, I said, "I don't care how I look today!" to her and in reply, Mike comes walking by and says, "I think you look beautiful today." I know it was just trying to brighten my day, but I just sat at my locker for a minute smiling because it did make me feel better. Good times. I have faith in people sometimes.
Today in school, Nick, Oz, and KCass decided it would be impossible for Laura and me to not talk for double Anatomy. We did it. I actually stayed silent after Anatomy too...total time without talking was about two and a half hours. Tomorrow, I'm shooting for the whole school day.
