Annoyed contempt at Lucy's interruption was neatly expressed by the curl of an elegant lip. The contempt was further underscored by the Rani's immediate return to what she had been doing before that little playtoy had so arrogantly wandered in. Lucy may belong to the Master, but that won't save her in the long run if she kept up with this sort of attitude.

"I am quite certain we haven't met. I am the Rani, and I am busy."

And damn the interruption that kept her from quasi-sedating Jack so she could take unimpeded samples and brainscans. Were there more infuriating delays such as this, she would have to take out the full force of her rage on the next to thus interfere.

A smirk was given as Lucy entered the room, not because she was there but because of the burst of jealousy from her and then a bout of anger from the Rani. Well, this was interesting.

But also he was tired of everything. So many samples had been taken and now he had scans to do, yet the chains were tight and he wanted the cot that was promised to him. Damn it. "Hey, Lucy," he said with mock-happiness.

The Rani rapped Jack on the head. Not ungently, but it got her point across. "Hold still, or you are going to be all tied up for much longer."

Jack rolled his eyes but he didn't stay still. He'd learned quickly that, unlike the Master, the Rani only did what she needed to do - experiments, and not pain, not threats. He looked over to Lucy and didn't move any other part of his body, just figuring his head would be fine. "You missed the Master by a few hours. Don't think you care much though, right?" Maybe they'd gotten along recently. That would be weird.
