Just to warn you, Bones does dip in quality sometime around season 4, but it picks back up again.

Castle I honestly just view as fun fluff with some highlights. And, you know, Mal reincarnated as a writer.

Also, advice for SG1: Skip the first season. Entirely.

No, really.

I mean, okay, watch the first episode, but stop right there and move on to s2. They never quite figure out what to do with Carter until season 7 (which is also when the show starts to dip in quality again, unfortunately), but you at least miss the worst of the sexism and I think all the rape, and the episodes get much much better.

I love that episode. And when Booth goes running out to dig her out of the sand aldfkjaslkfjdsaklfjdlaskjfdklasjfdsa. I know Brennan's a strong woman, but I still have a soft spot for male heroics. *swoons*

I feel bad because while I'm watching Bones all I want to do is trash talk Castle, lol.

This. And it's even worse with the parts that reduce her to a sex object. You don't see Brennan doing ridiculous slo-mo HEY LOOK AT ME IN A SEXY SWIMSUIT/DRESS/ETC. scenes. And Beckett never does anything wrong. Ever. She goes a litle crazy getting too involved with her mother's case, but that's it. Brennan hurts people's feelings. A lot, lol. She says stuff she shouldn't and then struggles to apologize. But Beckett is always doing the right thing, so there's never a chance for her to grow and mature. Only Castle seems to be the one that needs to learn lessons...

OH GOD I KNOW A;LFJDALFKJSKDLFJ IT WAS THE BEST. THE BEST. I feel like I should feel bad for liking it when he ~saves her~ or gets overly protective, but I don't. It's totally hot. But she pretty much did save herself in that episode anyway. If she hadn't blown out the windshield, they would have never found them. That's why the ending was so fucking perfect alskfjaklsjfklasj THIS SHOW ASFKJSDAFKLJ And I think it's like...because she can take care of herself, but he still feels the need to save her...idk it just makes it so much better ( ... )

YES! YES YES YES THAT EPISODE!! SO GOOD! (That was the one with Adam Baldwin AND Greg Ellis!)

I just watched the S3 episode with her dad's trial and man, I was bawling at the end. ~That's a lot of heart, Bones~ (I'm a few eps into S4 and I have to say... not liking it as much. I hate Daisy. I hate Daisy so fucking much. I don't understand what Sweets sees in her. Why is she still around? Don't they like, get engaged later? WTF is that shit? What writer thought that creating her was a good idea? I miss Zack like crazy and all the Wendells and Vincent Nigel-Murrays in the world cannot make it better :C ( ... )
