I know, right? It cracked me up that Toby and Worrywart1966 both went with, äh, 'rich Corinthian leather'... albeit separated by time, but still.

That's one of the things that I find most interesting about the drabble challenges where everyone has the same prompt: how different and yet how similar our storytelling inclinations are. I still CANNOT BELIEVE that hbart and mywitch both used Aunt Flo for "surprise visitor at Hogwarts." I mean... WHAT ARE THE ODDS? You expect a duplication of ideas on a major character (like Snape as the surprise visitor). But a period? And not just "a period," but the same exact euphemism for a period???
