Previously, on Lost: Sawyer screwed the pooch on the sub, sabotaging Shephard's straight-shooting speech and subsequently sending Sayid towards suicide. The sub shook and shimmied and Shephard saved Sawyer, while Sun and her suitor sucked seawater and said sayonara. Shephard and the sole survivors soon sobbed.

I feel the same way you do - it's truly the end of an era, and I've been with this show, these characters, and the people online and off that go along with it since the very beginning. It's been a long, strange trip and I will be very sad when it's all over.
This is a very good point about Ben and Chuck - I hadn't really thought of that, but it makes sense. Also, Ben doesn't seem to have the C4 with him, currently, so maybe Chuck can grab that and his equipment down on the docks and really screw up Ol' Smokey.

I will say, however, that I'd better not be sitting there with my mouth agape, wondering what the hell happened, like in the Alias finale. Or heads will roll.
As for Sawyer and Frank Duckett, this is LA X - a lot of things didn't go down like on Island Prime, so there's a good chance that Sawyer was just investigating leads, not committing homocide. Also - Kate is innocent now. Haven't you heard? ;)
