In one of the fanfiction I forgot to save Dave had a T-shirt that said "Not his type". Sadly, I can't remember who wrote it but it was spot on: it describes not only the physical appearance but also the psyche of one Dave Karofsky.

The Story is called "From the Start" :)

I am not even sure if Dave was wearing a shirt in the show - he's not in Glee Club so why should he?

this is fascinating. (i love psychology and, though i have no formal training in it, am very interested in how a person's inner workings lead to behavior.) i agree with your assessment and also hope that dave can continue on this road, whether he ends up friends or even lovers with kurt or just learns to accept himself and coexist with someone whose presence had frightened and threatened him for so long.

it also struck me, while reading your summary of erikson's thought, that some of us who turn 60 this summer are still trying to get that ego identity settled! ;)

thank you!

Kurt and Dave will always have this something that links them; beyond the fact that they are both gay. They come from a world of difference but there are aspects in their life that perfectly fit at the same time. Also, they understand each other. So if anything, it's made for friendship (and possibly a relationship? My pirate is showing XD)

Oh yes, indeed. It's pretty common to end up stuck instead of moving on, hence why some people maladapt I guess. I hope Dave manages to though. :)

XD XD Really? But no, I'm mexican and it's spanish: 'angel guerrera' means 'battle angel'. But I understand the confusion, since tagalog has a lot of words in spanish, right? XD Nice to meet you, lostenergy, and I'm really glad for your support to our beloved character, Dave Karofsky!!

Well that accounts for the 350 years dem Spanish peeps ruled our country. like my last name, Garcia, is spanish. You're right, tagalog does have a lot of Spanish in it, especially the dialect Chabacano.

Thanks for reading this and keep the Karofsky love high! :)
