We went house hunting today and quickly spied 8 healthy bucks. They were all equipped with water holes out back. Two were quite nice but surrounded by rabid neighbors. One was a wonderful 2-fer deal, maybe even a catch and release (two houses on 2.5 acres), but not really suitable for us. Several were possibilities. But one in particular is nearly perfect. It only needs minor cosmetic work. It's in our price range and is in the exact area we want.
Now we must sell our house quickly if we even have a chance at this prize. Our list date is Nov 20th, so I have mega work to do so that this one shows like a dream.
I don't want to get all hyped up about it because it's really too good to be true and probably won't stay on the market long. The only thing that might keep it from selling quickly is that it was built in 1978 (it's a 1 story ranch style home) that needs updating in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Anyway, whatever is meant to be will be but I'm really hoping this one is still around when we are ready to aim and fire.
